Let’s use Just Creative Design as an example; if someone who lives around Newcastle (where I freelance from) searches for ‘graphic designer newcastle’ my business comes up first in the local search results of which you can see in the image above and that position is 100% free through the use of Google Local.
In the image below you can see the free local google listing again but this time you can also see my paid advertising at the top (highlighted in yellow) which I have paid for through Google Adwords. I use Google Adwords to ensure that I get clicked first no matter what.

What You Need To Get Free Advertising On Google

Before you jump in and get your free advertising on Google you will need to have these things:

An account with Google.
A short description of your business for when a user clicks on your business name.
The phone number(s), addresses and any other contact information you want to advertise. Remember that the phone number will show up on the results page.
A logo and/or image(s) of your business and products.
How To Get Free Advertising On Google

Go to www.google.com/local and search for your business to verify that it is not already listed.
Go back to www.google.com/local and click “Put your business on Google Maps” found in the left side bar.
Follow the simple steps provided by Google. You will be asked to verify your business by phone or SMS. A good tip is to to not put your full address into Google but rather the largest town in your area. For example I live about 20 minutes outside of Newcastle in suburbia and not as many people would search for ‘graphic designer cardiff’ as they would ‘graphic designer newcastle’. I also do not want to show my home address on Google Maps as I freelance from home so this is a good way around it.
Come back in a few weeks and see if your listing is up. My listing took about 3 weeks to show up and started off in position D and somehow moved to position A… I am not sure how this is controlled but I won’t complain.
Well there we have it, you can now get free advertising on Google. You can track and edit your listing by going back to the Google Local page. It is possible also to use classified ads.

Google tricks for seo newbies

1. link:www.yoursite.com – Show’s you some/most of the links google counts to your page. Handy to find out who is linking to you, or whos linking to the competition
2. related:www.yoursite.com – find sites google deems related to any given site
3. site:www.yoursite.com – search the pages of a specific site
4. allinurl: shows only pages with all terms in the url
5. inurl: like allinurl, but only for the next query word.
6. allintitle: shows only results with terms in title.
7. intitle: kind of like allintitle, but only for the next word. “intitle:webmasterworld google” finds only pages with webmasterworld in the title, and google anywhere on the page.
8. cache:url gives you googles cashed (what google has on record) of a site
9. info:url will give you some info about a given site
10. spell: – does a spellcheck (you don’t have to do this, google will spellcheck any words searched)
11. stocks: does a search for stocks
12. filetype: does a search for a specific file type, or, if you put a – in front of it, it won’t list any results with that filetype
13. daterange: is supported in Julian date format only. 2452384 is an example of a Julian date.
14. maps: shortcut to do a google maps search
15. phone: searches for anything that looks like a phonenumber
16. allinlinks: searches only within links, not text or title
17. allintext: searches only within text of pages, but not in the links or page title

Every one in this world yearns o manage his or time but is not quite successful always. Managing their time is very important, be it a school student or a working professional or even a housewife managing the house.

Finishing your daily work on time is not the only meaning of managing the time, but also completing the work efficiently. It also means sparing time out for your personal activities and needs.

One needs to spare some time for yourself and your family to maintain a happy and healthy family life. After a hard days work, one should always find some time to spend with your loved ones. It also rejuvenates the relationship you establish with your loved ones and helps you in relaxing your tense mind and body.

By spending time with your self, you can easily keep your body and mind happy and healthy. It is very important that we find out some time to relax and refresh our worn out muscles and bones no matter how much busy or engaged we are with our daily chores and activities.

Relaxing and spending time with oneself can be done through various ways by a person. One of them is to do something that you like doing the most. It can be a pastime or hobby that you wanted to pursue but could not due to lack of time. You can relax your mind by reading a book. You can put yourself at ease by listening to your favorite songs.

Try cooking for a change. Cooking is enjoyed by many men and women but usually skipped due to time constraints. Here I wrote an article about the definition of Trust website. Not that these statements cannot be 100% as Google algorithm knows only the Google.

1. Domain Zone. By observing many webmasters, Google pays preference domains in area .edu. These sites of various universities, institutes and other organizations related to education. Why is this happening to understand not wonder. Google Founders Brin and Page were students. Google was born at the university. Education is an important part of the life of any normal American. Therefore, sites that are related to education, have an advantage in Google. I found this advantage are not only sites with a first-level domain. Edu, as well as local. Edu.au,. Edu.uk,. Edu.de and others, the truth only in their geographic areas.
2. Age of the website. The old site has superiority over the new. How to determine the age of the site? According to the Whois domain of Copyright, listed on the site, according to information posted on the site, its relevance, etc.
3. Age of the domain. What is the domain over, the better. Determine its age, just on the Whois.
4. History Domain. If the domain were not observed suspicious websites content, this is just an additional plus.
5. Number of pages in the index. The more pages to index your site the better.
6. The uniqueness of the site content. Of course, unique content is much better than kopipast. Therefore, sites with unique content, have the upper hand over the bad sinonimizirovannym or stolen content. Therefore, Web 2.0 sites are very well indexed and ranked – unique content written by users.

School Shopping Suggestions

It feels like just yesterday that I was cleaning out backpack and lunch boxes and putting them away. Summer is almost over, and the children will begin to go back to school in as little as three weeks. So now what? Well, now you need to get into your car, drive to your local Wal Mart and start shopping for all the school supplies that are required for Ethe upcoming school year.

Many of the school websites post a list of required school supplies, broken down into each individual grade. You can never start your shopping for school supplies and clothing to early, as these items tend to become very expensive, especially if you have multiple kids in school, and even worse if you have teenagers.

We always start looking at the beginning of summer for backpacks because that is when the store always seems to put them on sale. We always buy a new pair of school shoes early when we find them on sale; online is a great place to find them. You can compare prices and styles online pretty easily, plus most places will ship them for pick-up to a retail outlet for free. Many stores are bringing back layaway programs to make it easier for parents to get what they needed and pay for it a little at a time over the course of the summer instead of all at once.

Unlike years ago, shopping at stores like Wal Mart for clothing is a great place to start. They carry high quality clothing and keep a stock of fashionable styles. So by shopping here you will save money on your back to school shopping spree and your children will love the clothing choices that are available.

Wherever you shop and whatever you purchase, it would be a good ideas if your purchased American made products. These products tend to me more durable, and they will also keep many men and women employed. Another thing to do, before shopping, is to check your schools website to see what donations they are requesting from parents, whether it be a box of crayons or some hand sanitizer, whatever you can help with will be greatly appreciated.
