So as my laptop supports two internal hard drives I bought second one – sata 5400rpm and 500gb. I must say Acer does not give any parameters even in specification coming with notebook. But ok – hdd is finally bought. I opened secondary hdd cover and look:

There must be a special connector. You cannot buy this connector on the ebay and even cannot in local computer shop. You must go to you local acer dealer. And you know what? My local dealer does not have it because model is new. I should have bought asus…
Updated: As Letty from findtheanswers.com commented – I need to het connector, secondary hdd cover + secondary hdd bay. That is possible only at local acer dealer.

So we need a drive bay, a drive door and drive connector ?
won’t the old drive door do ?
thanks for help on thins
I found the door! Acer support finally gave me several phone numbers of Acer dealers. Here is Acer’s free technical suuport: Voice Technical Support : 1-800-571-2237. I haven’t called them, so I don’t know if they are any help. Communicating with their support via email reveals how awful their standard support is.
The company who has the door (and possibly the connector & hard drive caddy) is called Capital Data, 3300 W. Main St., Lansing, MI., 48917-4389, Phone: 800-999-4409 or 517-371-7100 EXT 21, Fax: 517-371-2188. Here is their website: http://www.notebook-laptop-repair.com/acerlaptoprepair.htm. They do not make a door without the annoying legs. Capital is charging me $29 plus $5 for shipping. I bought a drive caddy & a SATA connector designed for an HP laptop that looked similar to the ones I need for my ACER Aspire 7738G-6719. Capital Data probably has those parts too, but I tried to keep this whole deal to a minimum cost. It will take some modifying of the parts, but at least I should avoid anything that would compromise my warranty.
Here are the other websites & phone numbers Acer gave me.

I checked with Capital Data, and they want $29 for each part: hard drive door, hard drive caddy, and the SATA connector. I’m just buying the door and trying to make due with parts I found on eBay that are designed for the HP DV9000. I found the caddy & connector for $10.
I heard from another company, Grand Tech, out of Canada. They want $29 for the hard drive door too. Hope this helps!
Received the parts I needed. I had to clip off several legs and other protruding pieces from the underside of the hard drive door cover. The hard drive would not fit in the bay with a hard drive caddy, so I had to put the hard drive in the bay by itself. Even then, the door barely fit over the hard drive. It worked, but it’s a very tight squeeze. I found the hard drive connector on eBay. The connector was made for the HPDV9000. I had to clip some pieces from the connector so it would fit properly. The second hard drive is working great even though it’s a tight fit!
I found the acer bracket33pcc01004 and the connector 20pcc01001 in england (i am from belgium)and they shipped it over for all in 32.91 pound sterling

I have the same issue. I just bought an SSD but now I can’t use my old HDD. I searched for 20.PCC01.001 in Romania. The price is right, about $9 but the transport costs almost the same, so it’s a rip-off. Guess I just have to deal with it. Still, FU Acer for not giving this connector with the pricey laptop!
